Do I have to turn my UVee system on?

All you have to do to take your UVee out of the sleep mode is to open and close the lid one time, then a second time will start the sanitizing process once the lid is closed.  If it has been awhile since you have used your UVee you may have to open it a few times, the logo on the front will light up signaling that the cleaning system is in process. When the light goes off, the cycle is complete.  If you open UVee while the cleaning system is operating the lights will shut off.  You will have to reopen the lid twice again to start it up.  Your UVee system was designed to clean only when you need it to.  That way the bulbs are preserved for longer use.

How do I stop the sanitizing process during a cycle?

Open the lid for 2 -3 seconds then close.  The sanitizing process will stop and will not activate until the next time you wake it up from the sleep mode as described earlier.

How do I program my lock?

Your UVee System is pre-set with the factory code of 0-0-0.  To re-set with your own code follow these instructions:

  1. Locate the switch inside the unit behind the lock.
  2. Slide the switch to the left and up.
  3. Rotate the dials to your desired code.
  4. Slide the switch down and to the right, back to the original position.

Then register your code and warranty information at UVeeClean.com/warranty. Your serial number is located on the bottom of your UVee system.  Write your 3 digit code down somewhere as there is no way to open your unit if you forget your code.

How do I know my UV-C bulbs are working?

Your UVee UV-C bulbs must both be working in order for the maximum sanitization.  There is an LED light indicator on the side of your unit that will light up in case one of the bulbs is not functioning. If the light appears yellow, the bottom bulb is not functioning.  If the light appears green, the top bulb is not functioning.  Either way contact customer service.

What should I do before I put the toys in the system?

We recommend that all toys are rinsed or wiped clean of any visible signs of use, then thoroughly dried.  Place dry toys in to the system for safe sanitizing.   No need for special cleaners or disinfectants, just place the dry toys in your UVee system for safe sanitizing.

How does the UV-C light work?

Adult toys can collect harmful bacteria and germs which often cannot be seen by the human eye.  UV-C germicidal lights break apart the DNA of the microorganisms that can cause infection thus causing the cell to die.  UVee’s UV-C light system kills 99.9% of all germs that cause infections associated with the use of toys.  Each patent pending UVee system comes complete with two UV-C germicidal lights (top and bottom), which when exposed directly to the toys inside, kills the germs found on the toys.  Included in your UVee system are custom designed interior top and bottom reflectors allowing for maximum bounce and reflection inside the units which helps to kill germs and bacteria found in the nooks and crannies of adult toys.

If I don't share my toys why do I need to sanitize them?

Regardless if you share your toys or not the materials that toys are made out of may harbor germs which can cause infections.  Toys not properly cleaned or stored safely can also collect other germs that are hazardous to our bodies.  Toys can be exposed to other germs near the bedroom and bathroom that may also cause infections.  Similar to a toothbrush, millions of bacteria can be collected on toys that affects all of the organs of the body.

What bacteria does the UV-C light kill?

UV-C kills 99.9% of the following bacteria…Escherichia Coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus sp., Candida albicans, Lactobacillus acidophilus and Garderella vaginalis
